"Janet Henfrey suggested that ipat would interest me.
I was looking to get involved with something that mattered.
I was enthusiastic in essence but unsure
what I couldn't bring to the table.
That changed on observing at my first meeting.
Actors, writers, creatives are often the first to
suffer under extreme politics for example.
My background is the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
I have worked on cross party anti racism committees.
I am good at finding people, organising events
and am computer literate.
At my first meeting, I was scribbling ideas sparked
by the talented dynamic people around the table.
By the way end of the meeting I had the passion
to help carry IPAT forward."
